We believe the inspiration of art is a healing exercise. Our curriculum explores technical skills, balanced with the belief that creative expression has no boundaries. Students are encouraged to express their unique imaginations!

We are experienced with students ranging from enthusiastic to reserved, from
skilled to beginner, from youth to elder.

pieces with high-quality craftsmanship.

Classes are limited to 5 to 15 students with one or more instructors, to
ensure attentiveness with each special student.

♦ We provide printed instructions at the end of a 6-week class session, for you to practice with at home!

Our
instructors include internationally known artists with up to 30 years
experience! The lead teacher, artist Myrna Orsini, has
been a licensed teacher since 1969.

Art
Basics
Six
classes feature: Color and
composition, drawing, painting, print-making, collage, and mixed media.
13-Adult: Tues. Noon-1:30pm, Fri. 4:30-6pm, Sat. Noon-1:30pm (With the kids’ class!), Sat. 4:30-6pm.
Drawing
Six classes feature: Pencil, colored pencil, charcoal, pastel, ink , and various paper types.
Sessions Ages 6-12: Thurs. 2-3:30pm, Sat. 2-3:30pm.
13-Adult: Tues. 4:30-6pm, Sat. 10-11:30am.
Painting
Six
classes feature: Watercolors and
acrylics.
13-Adult:
Wed. Noon-1:30pm, Thurs. 4:30-6pm.
Collage
Six
classes feature: Wall hangings,
greeting cards and bookmarks using mixed media techniques.
13-Adult:
Fri. Noon-1:30pm, Wed. 4:30-6pm.
For
a first class, please bring the $30 check or cash payment. Separate $20 payments
are taken at the start of the next five classes. We provide supplies through the
six week session to complete six projects. If desired, you may bring favorite
tools and materials, and an apron or clothes that can be stained.
Private
Lessons: Hourly
rate determined by type of class and instruction skill level, supplies included.
For beginner, intermediate, or advanced. Enroll, we’ll create a schedule!
Discounts: If 15 or more students at once enroll and attend a class session, there is a 10% discount off the regular price of a 6-week session. With a 15-student session, you save $180! Refer a friend to us, and after the friend attends a first class session, you’ll get a 20% discount off the next class you attend. (One 20% friend discount allowed per class.)
Canceling:
A student may cancel enrollment during a six-week class session. There are
no refunds for payments already made.
Other

Parties
& Events: Choose
a theme of drawing, collage, or card-making, and we’ll do the rest! Let us
know the ages and interests of your guests so we can plan an activity. Each
guest can go home with a fun, completed project. Event hosted at the
$30/hour
per instructor, plus $5 supplies per guest.
Event photography with 1 CD for an
additional $15/hour.
Kid’s Summer Day-Camp: Monday-Friday 10am to 3pm, on June 2-6, July 14-18, or August 4-8. Each day the kids make a fun new art project to take home. For ages 6-12. Students bring their lunch and snacks. Any parent who volunteers help receives a 50% discount on one child’s enrollment.

Art Adventures Visits
Have us come to YOU for your event! Choose a theme of drawing, collage, or painting, let us know students’ ages and interests, and we’ll plan the activities. If our schedule is open, we may volunteer a 1-hour-trial event for large organizations. This offer is great for your…
Senior community: Activity directors, save your valuable time and
resources! Let us entertain your residents with art. Creativity keeps the mind active and happy, and a happy resident is a satisfied resident.
Care-centers or hospitals: Art is a therapeutic, fun social activity for your residents, who need our special care and compassion. We are experienced in working with the disabled and their skill levels.
Schools or seminars: Our curriculum is based on fine arts, and trains students of all skills to eventually create high-quality work.
Special Events: Want to create a wedding, birthday, graduation or other celebration like never seen before? We’ll provide unique fun!
A travel-fee may be added, if the event is outside of Thurston or Lewis counties. Event must be between 10am and 6pm and located in a public setting. Minimum 5 students per instructor, minimum 1 hour event, maximum 3 hours.
$35/hour per instructor, plus $10 supplies per student.
