| The FLIR ThermaCAM uses the far infrared wave lengths: 7.5-13 micrometers. This is the area where heat or energy is detected due to the radiation emitted by an object. This also makes it possible to calculate and display the temperature of the object.
The ThermoCam converts the the infrared radiation into a visable image that can be photographed, stored and used in the report. |
