| PREDICTIVE AND PROACTIVE MAINTENANCE is used to determine when equipment will fail. By taking measurements of rotating or reciprocating machines signatures can be obtained and compared to industry standards and repetitive analysis on the same machine over time accurate predictions can be made of time to failure.
Unbalance, bad bearings, bent shafts, surging of refrigerent and oil, missing gear teeth are just some of the problems that can be detected, measured and scheduled for repairs without shutting the machinery down. |
