VIBRATION ANALYSIS is helpful in determining what is going wrong in mechanical equipment. Vibration signatures can find problems with balance, missing gear teeth, wear and alignment in rotating an reciprocating machines such as motors, pumps, chillers, compressors and bearings.

VIBRATION ANALYSIS can also be used to determine time of failure based on industry standards and runout along with repetative measurements.

ULTRASOUND ANALYSIS is used to find air/gas and water leaks, faulty bearings, animal sounds, insect colonies(termites, cartenter ants, bees, hornets). HEATSCAN uses it to find leaks in chillers, compressors and other machinery.

This centrifagul chiller was analyzed for vibration, refrigerant leaks and electrical problems.

Refrigerant was being lost at 200 lbs/mo. and the chiller could not carry the cooling load.
